The Inventor is a minor antagonist in the series, The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. He is an evil scientist who specializes in underwater vehicles, but in actuality - all of his inventions are powered by slave children. He uses the slave children to complete all of his own tasks and chores, and in respect, gives them breaks.
Appearance
The Inventor has brown hair, along with a brown moustache. He often wears a navy blue sea captain's jacket, and a matching cap.

- He, along with his brother, the Professor, are usually creating steampunk-like inventions of all sorts.
- The Inventor has a strong dislike for his brother, most likely because of pure jealousy towards his inventions.
- The Inventor is based on Captain Nemo as portrayed by James Mason in the 1954 Disney film 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea.
