Lord Hotcakes is the ruler of Maple Syrup Island, who debuted in the episode No Syrup for Old Flapjacks, It is likely that he is a tyrant, as his original workers apparently left because he refused to pay them.
He was possibly killed by Flapjack Creature after it smashed his head to the ground.
